The Carolinas Conflict Consortium is an annual spring workshop where faculty and graduate students present social science research on peace and conflict. Our goal is to provide a friendly and constructive space for faculty and graduate students to present and receive feedback on their research. Calls for paper proposals are typically issued in December.
Workshops have been hosted by The Carter Center in Atlanta (2026), The College of Charleston (2025), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2024), Appalachian State University (2023), the University of South Carolina (2022), virtually (2021), and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2020).
